Second Harvest Heartland is one of the largest food banks in the country. In summer of 2019, they were preparing to move into their new building and tapped Bellmont Partners to help with large-scale signage for the Volunteer Center and other wayfinding purposes. I worked with the Second Harvest team and printers to render and design vinyl and acrylic signage. To this day, it’s so exciting to be in that amazing building seeing signage that I helped create!
The Minnesota Firefighter Foundation (MnFIRE) began in 2016 and Bellmont Partners helped launch it, including naming the organization and creating its logo. I designed the logo to achieve everything MnFIRE wanted, including simple icons to highlight the big three health issues that affect firefighters at alarming rates (heart disease, emotional trauma and cancer) and a simple design that can be used on firefighter merch. Since then, I have created dozens of designs for MnFIRE including trade show booth elements, flyers, print and digital ads, social media and website graphics, email campaigns, brochures and much more.
I also created logos and branding for their annual fundraising event, MnFORE, as well as their signature conference called the Firefighter Health Forum.
This is just one piece of collateral I have designed for The Family Partnership (TFP) since January 2022. TFP’s fun, bright-colored branding makes it a joy to lay out marketing and development collateral. I also create program flyers, web and social graphics, brochures and more. I sourced all stock photos for this project, edited all original photos, placed all the copy and laid out the entire document.
Hours after Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz announced the statewide shutdown of restaurants in March 2020 due to the pandemic, Second Harvest Heartland was coordinating with several partners to create Minnesota Central Kitchen (now Kitchen Coalition). The initiative brought together caterers, chefs and furloughed restaurant workers to put abandoned ingredients into freshly prepared meals that were served at food shelves and meal programs throughout the state. After a year of helping them with media relations around the program, Bellmont Partners helped brand a campaign called Pitch In For the Kitchen to both raise money for the program and to celebrate the impact prepared meals have on the hunger relief system. I created a logo, several social assets and print cards that were distributed, along with meals, to local influencers like Jason DeRusha who helped spread the news about MCK. The campaign was wildly successful, raising nearly $750,000 and helped the initiative become a permanent part of Second Harvest Heartland’s daily programming for individuals and families in need.
I designed this infographic at Bellmont Partners for Explore Minnesota in 2017 showcasing Minnesota’s five unique regions. It was distributed on PR Newswire and garnered more than 200 placements.
Dairy Queen is an iconic brand, and wanted to make a big splash for Valentine’s Day 2026 with a special 2 for $6 cupcakes promotion. I art directed the product and lifestyle shoot, the photos of which I then applied to several different pieces of point-of-purchase merchandising, including a poster, freezer door header and feature transparency. The pieces were shown in stores and in drive-thrus at Dairy Queen locations across the United States.
The photography was also featured on Dairy Queen’s cakes homepage and even made an appearance on People.com!
